 Albany State University Police Department hosted local agencies for the Georgia Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Training for
9-1-1 Telecommunicators. This training is an interactive blended learning course that is designed to present telecommunicators with advanced training in handling crisis calls involving consumers with mental illnesses, neurodevelopmental disabilities, and/or who are in crisis.

Celebrating the women of Albany State University Police Department. The National Women’s History Alliance designates a yearly theme for Women's History Month. The 2024 theme celebrates “Women Who Advocate for Equity, Diversity and inclusion.” The women of Albany State University Police Department are the embodiment of these attributes and are essential members of the Albany State University Ramily.
