Student Activity Fees
Student activities for the fall 2020 semester will be offered via face-to-face (allowable based upon social distancing and event size) and virtual platforms. The student activity fee will also continue to fund various student organizations that serve and benefit students. Such organizations include, but are not limited to student government and the student activity board.
The transportation fee will continue to allow student’s access to the Ram Rush, which is Albany’s public transportation system. This allows students to move between campuses and within the city of Albany. The Ram Rush will ensure all students will have access to transportation to essential student services and the face-to-face instruction on both campuses.
Although fall sports have been suspended, there are continued expenses to operate the athletics program. Additionally, these fees will continue to support student athletes as they train and condition to compete in future seasons. Game day operations are not the only expenses related to the operation of the program.
